The Competition Systems product range of sensors have all been thoroughly tested under the demanding environments of motor sport, many of which are created purely for Competition Systems and built to our own specification by specialist companies who are leaders in their specific technology.

Accelerometer - The DKAC01/02/03 accelerometers contain piezoresistive accelerometers along with all of the necessary circuitry for amplification, temperature compensation and filtering.

All voltage output sensors are housed in a common body design comprising a machined aluminium enclosure with IP64 rating. Each sensor is individually calibrated for zero and gain drift within a climatic chamber at the time of manufacture.

No special mounting requirements are needed for this device beyond the limitations of temperature compensation. Output is linear in the range of 0-5v with the zero G offset at 3v.

Accelerometer CAN module - 2 axis + 2 analogue inputs

Accelerometer - The DKAC02/A2 accelerometer contains 2 piezoresistive accelerometers along with all of the necessary circuitry for amplification, temperature compensation and filtering within a single CAN module capable of providing the inputs for both accelerometers plus 2 additional inputs.

All voltage output sensors are housed in a common body design comprising a machined aluminium enclosure with IP64 rating. Each sensor is individually calibrated for zero and gain drift within a climatic chamber at the time of manufacture.

Accelerometer CAN module - 2 axis + 2 analogue inputs

Gyro - Miniature - This sub-miniatuire single axis gyroscope provides a linear voltage output relative to the angular rate of change from a 5 to 16v unregulated supply. All measurement and signal conditioning are housed within a compact 25 x 16 x 8mm machined aluminium housing.

Versions are available with +/- 50, 100 or 150°c rate of change to suit all applications. To obtain the exact angle it is necessary to integrate the output of this sensor using a mathematical function of the analysis software.

Accelerometer - Miniature - These sub-miniature single axis accelerometers provide a linear voltage output relative to G rate from a 5 to 16v unregulated supply. All measurement and signal conditioning are housed within a compact 25 x 16 x 8mm machined aluminium housing.

2 design variants are available using differing technologies, the ‘gas’ type is used for lower frequency measurements such as chassis movement, whereas the the ‘capacitive’ type is able to measure vibrations up to 100Hz. Each design variant may be specified within the range +/-1 to +/-10g

Each sensor is supplied with unique calibration data at 20°c
